I'm a new to this forum but not to Healingwell, been in Crohns for a long while.
I've always it seems had a mild asthma but never really had much need for medications unless allergies or upper resp infection. Unually would have albuteral rx'ed but not used much... now I understand why!!!!!  have been having lots of problems this year with my lungs. had sinuses fixed to help allergy sinus infections and things started hitting the lungs... I was even using my inhaler to try and help... kept having more problems ended up spending Thankgiving in hospital with pnumonia and home with albuterol 4x's a day
kept getting worse start a steroid bid - started stagering when I used each one and would realize I had forgot the albuterol till late would use and get worse.....
I quit useing for a couple of days and was doing better till a windy day and lungs burning  I stopped by home before getting allergy shot and used the albuteral inhaler - by time I got shots was almost unable to breath - ended up seing Dr., I was reacting to the propelant in it. not good.... now off and started singular - hoping lungs will get better now - hoping!!! now I understand why I never cared for it in the past....
May God Bless and keep you in his care.
