I've lost my vocals do to nasal drip . Do to the allergies and mold exposure is this normal and how do I get my voice back confused

Don't talk and take allergy meds. This happened to me on a couple of occasions. I had to rest my voice and start on an allergy medication. I got my voice back in about a week or so. Also gargling with warm salt water helps too.
