i am pretty sure I have this. I wake up with red eyes. I flush throughout the day. I think around perfume it gets worse. Certain hair gels make this reaction worse. Rash in high beam light. Redder eyes and skin flushes very easily. Cant tan like I use to. I dont have rosacea. I get headaches sometimes and when i react a certain way or get busy at work, i flush easily. I think this is because ia m allergic to everything. What treatments would work best. When i workout, my eyes get red. My nose is so dry as well. Eyes are dry. Sign of something. Woudl allergist be right person to go to? If i test positive for everything, would i need to get on shots help. Like i siad, hard to avoid something in the air, right? Let me know?

An Allergist may or may not be able to help you, but if you are truely chemically sensitive there are supplements that can reduce sensitivity and you'd need to work with a Naturopathic Physician or Integrative Medicine doctor to figure out what you specifically need. Some deficiencies can affect the body's ability to detoxify chemical substances (such as perfumes, alcohols, etc.) and thus can lead to sensitivities to these chemicals. Good luck,
Chronic Lyme Disease, Gluten & Sulfite Sensitivity, Many Food/Inhalant/Medication/Chemical Allergies & Intolerances, Asthma, Gut issues (dysmotility, non-specific inflammation), UCTD ("Secondary Lupus-Like Syndrome"), Osteoporosis, Pancytopenia, chronic malabsorption/malnutrition, etc.; G-Tube; Currently TPN-dependent.
Meds:  Zofran, Pulmicort, Heparin (to flush PICC line), Claritin, Colloidal Silver (used topically), IV Milk Thistle, probiotics.
