FOr past 2 months i have had headaches and burning red eyes. Eyes have been issue for years with docs just saying i have dry eyes. Red in morning mainly and on and off in days. They never itch. However, i have had flushing skin for 2 years as well. Flush really easy. Had test on all sorts of thigns adn nothing comes up. I went for allergy test and I am allergic to every single tree, weed or grass there is. Highly allergic to all kinds of things. However, i dont sneeze hardly ever, eyes dont itch. My sinuses dont flow real good. Ct scan came back fine. Headaches are worse in mornings when i wake up and bad all day pretty much> worse in perfumes, smells, hotels, airports, etc...Not really sure but i assume this is allergy symptoms. Went to neuro person who referred me to allergist but might get brain scan next to make sure no tumor but allergy doc said i have so much inflamation that prob causing all these symptoms although i dont have a sinus infection. I am also allergic to a few molds and dogs. So who knows. He said allergy shots? Think my next move b/c i am miserable most of the day for past year. So could someone give me advice on something to take maybe for headaches due to allergiest. Anti histamine doesnt seem to ever work. I am taking veramyst and patanase and seems to clear up eye redness but not headaches. Any ideas on whats going on with me?
Thanks aot

Allergies can play havoc on your system. Many think that allergies are nothing but a nuisance but in reality it can affect your everyday life very much. My daughters allergies got so severe that her lymph nodes started to swell. She was all around miserable. She started on allergy shots about 2 months ago and we are pleased with her progress. She has been able to come off her allergy medication and she has only mild allergy symptoms as of now. I say give the allergy shots a go and see if they help. Once you get the allergies under control the headaches should lessen. I have bad allergies as well and one of my symptoms is a sinus headache. Have you tried taking Tylonel Sinus? This usually works well with allergy induced headaches. But whatever you take for a headache be sure before hand that it does not contain a antihistamine since you are already on one. If you double dose, it can dry you out pretty bad.

A good friend of mine also has a very strong allergy. His eyes are always dry and red and constantly has a runny nose. It is really bad but they still do not know what he actually is allergic to. In winter everything is good but as soon as it is getting warmer outside he has the symptoms.

I've been told I'm allergic to everything but a Beech tree. I tried allergy shots, but I kept having reactions to them.
For the "dry eyes" my eye doctor put me on high doses of fish oil twice a day. It helps.
