For the past couple months my certain areas on my skin have developed tiny little bumps that itch like crazy. i get them really bad on my legs and arms and some on my stomach. they hurt and sometimes i itch them so much my skin starts to bleed and scab. i am only on birth control other than that no medication that might cause this. i was just wondering if anyone had any feed back on what this could be. nothing in my diet has changed and i use the same lotion and hair products i have always used.

Have you switched laundry detergents or softener? Have you had your house checked for bed bugs? If this continues, you may need to see an allergist to get to the bottom of it.

Bed bugs have nothing to do with clean or dirty. You can pick them up anywhere and they are very difficult and expensive to get rid of. To check for fleas walk around your home in white socks. This attracts them for some reason. Bed bugs can be harder to check for. If you have white sheets put them on and check for little blood stains in the morning. Bed bug bites are usually in rows of 3 and not everyone reacts to the bite. Check your pillows, mattress and box spring, the bed frame. You can go to to get a recommendation for an exterminator in your area. If you suspect bedbugs or fleas your best be is to have someone come in and check who know where to look. If it is bed bugs it is important to get an exterminator who deals with them on a regular basis because if they don't know bedbugs they can make your problem worse.

You said there has been no change in laundry detergent, medications etc.

Have you recently began wearing new jeans etc. Is the rash on your stomach around the belt line or just all over.

Something is definitely irritating your skin. If you haven't changed soaps, clothing, bed linen etc - Yeah you may have to get it checked out.

I recently completed a 5 part research article on Eczema - Which is a skin disease based on the immune system over reacting to some type of substance etc.

A chemical, Food, Medications, heat & stress can actually bring on an outbreak too I found out.

The article is located at Home page contains link to the Eczema Topic. Reading some of it may just jog your mind to some possible cause. Not pleasant I wish there was an easy solution.

I wish you well.
