Okay. Here's my two cents.
I've coughed for three years!
Mine is due the acid reflux induced asthma. No wheezing, just something comes up in my throat and I have to cough to clear. Sometimes there's phelm, sometimes not.
I took medications up the wasoo, had dozens of tests, went through three specialist doctors, and three years to find a solution.... Acid Reflux Surgery. I'm getting evaluated in two weeks for a new type of surgery (EsophyX TIF). Then if things go well, I'll have it done in December.
See a GI it maybe more.
Health problems: sleep apnea, hypothyroidism, GERD, glaucoma, OA, environmental, food, and drug allergies, asthma, high cholesterol, pre-diabetic
Medications:Nexium 2X a day, 300mg Zantac, K-Dur, Lasix 2X a day, Zyrtec, Zocor, Lumigan, fish oil, B12, Substex, calcium + D, Advair, Albuteral, nebulizer
I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy every minute of it!
