Well, I finally got a referral to a pulmologist in my area, as this was my 4th battle with pneumonia was a lot harder
this time around for me to overcome. I just hope I get a good doctor on my first visit and I'm kinda scared as I've had
too many bad doctor's. I got a copy of my chest x-ray to prove I had pneumonia, so I hope that helps, any ideas what else I can take with
me to this appointment...any advise from y'all would be nice, I'm just really nervous..
soft hugz to all

I'd take the Xrays. They usually take their own, too, and compare them. They'll probably do an asthma breathing test, too.

I still have horrible red bags under my eyes and some sniffing. But I'm getting there.

Thanks,

So glad your getting better, I had the appointment today and he said my night time asthma is being trigger by acid reflux and gave me some more medicines, and that my left rib is still broken from coughing when I had the pneumonia, he said he could feel it...geezee, how long does it take to heal a cracked rib, it's been 6 weeks since they noticed it...
Hope you have a great Easter or Pass Over...

I went to a pulmologist right after being diagnoised with allergies/asthma. My allergist told me to go. He was fine and I just breathed into something and I can't remember what the results were.

I know the horror well of feeling like doctors will and do not believe you. Some of them are just egomaniacs straight out, others are ignorant and afraid to make everything worse. Luckily I don't have any of those at the present moment.

chartruex,
My asthma was being set off by my GERD. I had to have acid reflux surgery to stop it. Now I only have asthma when my allergies are bad.
