I started the have a reaction thanks to some peanut exposure in the house yesterday morning.  I was wondering how long typically should I be wheezing, and coughing like a barking seal before I get some relief/improvement?

Can you air out the house?
Do you have a hepa filter to clean the air?

No hepa filter and it is 98 degrees out the heat makes my asthma worse sadly. At least my boyfriend goes outside to smoke.

You can get a wonderful hepa machine through Walmart.
I bought one I love. It has an eternity filter and a germ zapper.
The price was very reasonable.

Take a hot shower. THe warm vapor helps open airways

Maybe try swimming? Many of the swimmers I know of have asthma and swimming has helped them tremendously.
