I have severe chronic allergies year-round and the constant post nasal drip that leaks into my stomach causes me to be extremely nauseous every morning. I take allergy medications but it doesn't do much. Does anyone have advice for dealing with nausea and bad post nasal drip?

My PCP gives me Donnatal for nausea from stomach issues, paregoric if it's bad enough. (Has to be really incredible to get me to swallow that nasty stuff!) Gastroenterologist says take Nexium. That does reduce nausea, but I don't want to be on it long term.

To stop the allergies I see the allergist. She has me on shots. I have no symptoms, except for this spring when I started having problems with grass. I've added a new injection regimen for building immunity to the grass, and it's working already. It takes several months of increasing doses to build immunity. The shots work far better than anything I've tried over the years. I don't have the drip, no sneezing or coughing.

I use a nettie pot every day. Breathing in a small amount of the solution, and allowing it to go through my nose, and down into my mouth clears out that whole area. It is a big help. Sorry if this sounds gross, but it made such a difference; no more nausea.

Thanks for the suggestions. I also have been using a netti pot every day for years. It does help a bit. I just decided to go to the doctor and try higher doses of prescription allergy medication.
