I have recently had exposure to formaldehyde through a hair product ( stupid mistake I won't be repeating!). I am wondering how best to detox my body from this and would appreciate some tips.

Thanks

Hmm I've never heard of this! I don't have any answers for you but have you tried searching the Internet?

look in the phone book for the number to the poison control center and ask them. don't play with your future health. anybody can write anything on the internet. your health is real.

Aldehydes are processed through an enzyme pathway that relies on Molybdenum, zinc, magnesium, iron and Vitamin B Complex (especially Vitamin B6 and Vitamin B12). Making sure you are getting adequate amounts of these nutrients will help.

Might also need to see an Environmental Medicine specialist, as they are most qualified to help you detox from chemical exposures such as formaldehyde.
