I have used Loratadine in the past and eventually it had stopped working for me which is why I had to go to stronger allergy pills. My mother in law swears by this stuff so hopefully it will make you start feeling better. Don't be ashamed of your high blood pressure. A lot of people have it, yeah I know it's not healthy but it's pretty common. 210 is pretty high, but my gma, who lives with me, would fluncuate between 180-220 and she's 86. She was put on Vasotec to control her blood pressure. Just remember that now you were diagnosed with HP to lower your sodium intake and eat healthy, no fat-low sodium food.
