hi everyone... so my problem is as follows.... 2 months ago i had problems with my face burning and turning red and swelling up (when i was exposed to the sun or perfume or cigarette smoke) and i basically went to doctors for it and he said it was probably some allergy to the plants outside.  i bought reactine and some orange pump for asmthma and he told me to stop shaving where it burned and after that i was ok... but i havent been exposed to anything since so im not sure... then some bump IN my skin on my cheek 2 cms away from nose .. right above where it burned formed it was kinda little it didnt show but i could feel it well...  sometimes it would burn but when i would touch it, it would not feel anything... so now my burning stopped and the bump is almost all gone... but my problem is when i wake up (after sleeping 6 hours maybe my eyes feels irritated as if i had sand in it... and my eyelid (the part right above eye and below eyebrow)would be sorta swollen and would show a little bit by the form of my eye.... and nose would be swollen but would unswell a little bit after the morning(around 10:30-11:00)...and its at about that time i would feel "untired". i my eyes i have red lines and i would put eyedrops and it helps a bit. sometimes my eyes itch for no reason and burn for no reason. everytime i take a shower or bath or put ice on my nose it becomes alot less swollen, so maybe its an inflammation??... when i came back from school today i put ice for 10 minute and it became alot less swollen...when i go at the gym my eyes feel weird... most probably because there is climatized air(aire climatisé) which i might be allergic??

now the acne part... i have some blackheads on my nose but not that much... when id take them off and wash it my nose becomes less swollen... maybe the acne is part of the swelling in   the morning or whatever?? i dont know and its really hard to know

and i forgot to mention that i moved in a new place 4 months ago and i dont seem to be able to sleep right... getting average 5hour sleep per night maybe and i need more than 8...and also i wake up at 6:45 every morning go to school and then workout for 2 hours 5/7.. so thats maybe the cuz of swelling and the tired looking eyes??  someone help me out please!! thanks alot!!

Sounds like it can be a variety of things. First, what sort of eye drops are you using? If you are using Visine or equivalent, it might be wise to stop this. These make your eyes feel better but eventually it can make it feel worse, sort of the rebound effect. Try using artificial tears or saline drops instead. It could also be allergy eyes. This is a horrible allergy season and that dry gritty feeling may be from allergies. If you go to the doctor again, I recommend asking for Pantenol if it is allergies.

I don't have much to say about the bumps under skin. I don't possibly know what they could be. But I know my hubby gets red bumps a few days after he shaves. These red bumps are ingrown hairs. He uses rubbing alcohol after he shaves, not right right after, that would burn but after his face is dried and maybe later that night or day. Maybe worth a try?

As for the nose, once again, it sounds like allergies. Do you ever feel congested in the nose, throat or ears? Have you tried any over the counter allergy meds to see if this helps? Also too, if you can tolerate it, try taking Advil or Aleve before going to bed. It may help stop the swelling overnight.

But one thing for sure, you do have some "stuff" going on, but what is the question. If it persists or worsens definately go to your doctor.

It's good then you got a drs appt to figure this out. Something wacky is going on with you, I agree. I just started using the Systane eye drops too for dry eye. It really helps with my dry eye syndrome. Omega 3 actually takes about 2 weeks before you might notice an improvement. It's like most natural remedies, it sort of has to build up in your body first. So I will keep my fingers crossed and hope this helps you. Let us know what the doc has to say, you got me curious now! :)
