Hi all, just thought I'd introduce myself to everybody.
I'm 29, live in new Zealand and have two children.
I suffer from Severe allergies, eczema, keratoconus, severe dry eye,PCOS, depression, bletharitis (?spelling) and have an anxiety disorder. Hope that covered it lol.
I am interested in hearing any alternatives to treating/ controlling any of the above as I have allergies to alot of the medications used to treat some of these.
Please feel free to leave a note introducing yourself as I am keen to get to know you all.

Nice to meet you Ford1977
I'm in Texas, but I grew up in Michigan so I'm a yankee down here!
There where a lot of earlier posts on dry eyes you might want to go back a couple of pages and look.
I've read that Stinging Nettle is supposed to help with allergies you should ask your doctor first
I wish you good luck
I have one daughter soon to be 16yrs, sweet sixteen
What are your allergies if I may ask?
Mine are Dust Mites, Plant Molds, Dogs and now certain steroids. no known foods yet
Recently Osteoarthritis in my back
along with other things
anyway

Welcome Ford1977,
I hope you find this forum helpful and fun. I am a 31 yr female from Minnesota. I have one son who is 4. And I am married.  I have Asthma, Vasomotor Rhinititis, Chronic Sinusitis, Hydrenatitis, BiPolar Disorder. Sinus Rinses are very helpful to clean out the sinuses. Helps with congestion. Prescription Nasal sprays are also helpful. I take Advair Diskus, Nasonex, Albuterol, Depokote ER, seroqouel, Zoloft. My son, who is 4 has Eczema also. Poor little boy itches himself to the bone. It is becoming more mild now. It used to be just terrible the eczema. He uses Protopic and that works really well for the Eczema. And a Moisturizer is a major thing with Eczema. Keep your skin Well hydrated. Don't take long showers. Pat your skin dry after shower do not rub dry. Those things help my son. Best wishes to you. Have a nice day!!.. :-) yeah
