you tried Mosinex? It helps to thin out the phlegm, It's also over the counter.. I found wierd way to help with it.. I had someone tell me to try drinking Pepsi, Coke or something like it that it help don't know why it works but it does.. I've found it to be best when i'm having so much phlegm that it feels like you have knot in your throat and want to gagg.. It helps with this feeling!

For asthma i was told to eat chocalate, or drink something with allot of caffiene that it will help.. It does help too but not for the sever attack.. Just helps with the wheezing.

Thanks Ghost for replying to my posting. I have tired the Musonex for the last 2 months. I guess it might have helped some but had so much phlegm that was not sure if it was helping much or not. I know I was forever having gag or clear my throat when I was taking it. If mine had not been so thick maybe it would have worked better. I still may try it again, I am beginning to feel as if I am not choking all the time so maybe it will soon be better. I know my Dr told me it could take from 3 to 6 months for it all to clear up. Cant believe it will take so long but its been 3 and I am still having a lot of trouble. Thanks again for your reply, B J D
