This isn't about asthma but I need an answer. What should the temperature be in a house for a newborn baby? The doctor said you don't need to put up the heat just put another blanket on the baby. Daddy likes the heat at 62 degrees but I think it is too cold. Thanks for any help:)

How cold is it outside where you live? I know when my kids were little, I would keep the temp at 70. If I felt they were too cold, then I would put them in a warm pajama with a blanket.

It is 4 below zero today plus colder with the wind chill. Tomorrow it will be colder. I thought 68 would be better for the baby.

I remember I read somwhere 68 to 70 degrees was fine for a newborn.  My husband likes the house cold too so I had to check into that a few years back when we had our little one.

Thanks curiou2:) I can't get Daddy to put the heat up over 62 yet. I bundle baby up and he seems fine but I sure am cold!

I would keep the temperature at 65-70 degrees. Dress the baby a little warmer than yourself. That is my advice.
