Has anyone been dx'd with this?

I haven't but it sounds exactly like what I've been experiencing. My left ear will feel full and under pressure, then ringing, then severly drunk feeling. I can't hardly walk or drive or much of anything. I have had three episodes since July and I take Dramamine trying to get relief. It will last a few days then go away. It sounds like it may been common with allergies.

I'm trying to get into an ENT.

I don't have this and I sincerely hope you don't either. Is it possible that you have an ear infection? My hubbys co-worker has Menieres and has a very difficult time with it. I'm not sure if he takes any medication for it but as far as I know, he doesn't have allergies. I don't really tak with him much. I will keep my fingers crossed for you and hope it's something that's curable.

Thanks for responding Sherry. I hope I don't have that either. I'm still trying to get a referal to an ENT.

The drunk feeling is very disabling and I have thought about possibly if it was an ear infection. I had it last spring and went to my regular doctor and she couldn't find anything wrong. The other thing I thought about was possible fluid buildup in the middle ear where a regular doc can't see and I'm sure that could throw off a persons equilibrium.

Hopefully I can get into someone but I'm fine at the moment, I just feel like I can't hear out of my left ear as well.

I would keep record of everthing you eat and How you feel after wards, this will be helpful at the Ent. I have ringing,ad normal vestibular, could be food allergy? mine is wheat or gultin, gave me a drunk feeling or foggy headed feeling, also I would suggest takeing some omega fatty acids 3 . make sure they are pcb and lead free, ifos rated.this helped me with my blance and dizzyness, take 2 grams or 2000mg.daily!
