I've had asthma for several years, taking the standard meds. While on vacation, I met a pharmacist from Australia who told me that in her country patients are advised to take one puff of the broncodilator (albuterol) 2 or 3 minutes before inhaling the Advair. I felt better almost immediately, when I got home, I tested my lung function with my Peak Flow meter. Before the vacation, I blew 350, today, I blew 450 :-) . Hope this helps! Good Luck.
