I am nervous about tomorrow. I got to the Ortho. I took my last Lyrica a couple hours ago... He is supposed to say whether I have Fibro or not for "certain"...he already said I most likely had it, but he wants to make sure before  he 'officially' writes it down I guess. But, the Lyrica seems to be helping... he said if it didnt he was sending me to the next state to a doctor who is somehow related to him, but he said he was the best doctor anywhere around here and that he was the smartest man he knew. He also said if anyone could figure me out it would be him...

I am hoping I figured myself out! I told him it was Fibro. and then he decided to treat me and it seems to be helping. But, maybe he can send me to a pain doctor or something. I dont think he is going to be the one to watch me, so to speak. And maybe I can get something to help me sleep when I am not able to....maybe I can talk to someone about my depression and a/p....

I am just very nervous...all the possiblities...this year is going to be better and I am going to get everything out in the open so I dont feel so alone and trapped!

So, I better go, I need alot of sleep....just needed to vent, Thanks.

Hello and good vibes coming your way.  I am sure you are nervous but look at it this way, you are being proactive so Kudos to you.  Yes, it is time for you to address each of your issues with the right physician and get the help you need.

Depression can be devastating to the person who is suffering with this illness.  Depression is treatable. I will pray that you find a good physician to get you on the right meds and help you find a therapist.

I know how you feel---being nervous about visiting doctors----just keep your "head in the game" (LOL---spin off of High School Musical--my DD loves that movie)----I hope it all goes well---and hopefully this year 2008 WILL BE OUR YEAR of HEALTH and HAPPINESS!

I sit in the waiting room full of people(which is torture to me!), just so I can see the doc for less than 2 minutes!

He came in and said...has it helped...I i get a HUGE smile on and say,"Yes, it has!!" So, he says ok thats great. I am going to give you some scripts for it. And I will call your PCP to let him know and you can go through him for it from now on.

Then, he left! He is always on the go. One time he had the doc open trying to leave when we were talking! His office is laid back and sometimes he doesnt even close the door so....

But, he gave me 3 months worth of Lyrica and said I didnt have to go back! I think I might actually miss him! IIts been 4 years of going to him! But, I didnt to him for alomst a year during that time and I did actually miss going! He talks funny!

But, anyways, that was it so...just wanted to let you guys know.
