i had a bad head injury when i was 1 years old by falling and busting my head open, my mom said that since i was little i have had the shakes, the doctor at the time said it was a type of palsy, since i am getting older i am getting worse, not where i can't do things but some things can be hard, i also know i have anxiety and that makes it get worse, but sometimes i don't know, the shakes are all over head to toe its slight but get worse when stressed. but i am scared it could be something else

That sure sounds frightening.
All I can say is have you seen a specialist neuro? It could be a palsy or not.
I think you would be reassured with some answers. Please feel well.

Definitely go see a neurologist. I was having some hand tremors and was sure I had Parkinson's or MS. That's how us anxious types think. It turns out it was from some mood stabilizing meds I was on. The worry, frankly, is worse than any answer you could get. Go see the doctor!

I am also reading lately that anxiety and stress is seriously bad for your heart. We need to not be stressing over things we can help--like our health worries. See the doctor and quit stressing.

Good Morning,
It is a good idea to have a physical and rule out any new causes for the "shakes"  I have a hand tremor and use  Inderal to help control it.  Like you when I am anxious it becomes worse.

Hugs to you and keep posting.

without insurance i can't see a neuro i would like too, i heard that palsy can be caused by a head injury, but my bother at 12 years developed bells palsy where one side of his face went paralyzed, i have scoliosis, one leg slightly shorter, and shakes but i am normal mentally, well other than anxiety my tremors stop when i lay down are there at rest, i thought i might have essential tremors but my doc said that he does not think sense i shake all over, he said i don't have Parkinson's because my shakiness stops at rest so i feel so confused, i even thought i might have lyme disease because i was bit by ticks a couple of times but my doc did a lyme test and it came neither positive or negative it was in the middle and i can't afford the igenex test, i have muscle twitches all over some of the time , my ribs hurt sometimes, the liver function is high, which could be the reason for my ribs hurting, so i feel i am falling apart sometimes, like a old car
