Does anyone know if it's OK to take a "PM" medicine with an SSRI? I'm taking Paxil and I've got a terrible sinus headache, but I only have Tylenol Sinus PM. The only reason I can think of for PM meds not being recommended with SSRI's is because both can cause drowsiness...but my Paxil doesn't seem to cause drowsiness and I'm not going out again tonight anyway. Anyone know if this is OK or not?

It should be ok if your not allergic to anything in the Tylenol PM. Good that you are not going out again.
Hope your headache is better.

Give the pharmasist from your local pharmacy a call and ask if it's okay to take these two meds together.  Hope you feel better!

Hello ARidden i would call the pharmacy like JBug said, I call the local Pharmacy all the time to ask questions about specific meds. That would be the safest thing to do. Hay Machelle where did you get that info about tylenol PM causing liver problems? Does regular tylenol cause that too?

Sinus mixtures have sudafed like drugs and are not safe with some antidepressants. Ask a good pharmacist or the doctor.
