I havn't had full blown anxiety attack for awhile but these little things keep really bugging me and i was jus wondering if ne1 else has experienced something similar or whether its jus me not the anxiety.

1. Never feeling at ease, no matter what I do i jus cant relax. If i go to see a friends within a short while i get the urge to leave becoz i jus dnt feel rite

2.All of a sudden start feeing really awkward in a social. You meet som1 and u feel almost scared of them for no reason what so ever.

3. If there been an accident and there's a chance som1 u love is involved in it. Then u feel tey definetly have been involved there almost no chance that ther not and in my case really start to panic despite my other ppl in same situation as me remaining calm altho ther worrid too.

4. Have days when ur social skills and memory jus desert you and you end up making loads of mistakes at work or making every1 feel awkward

5. Ever hav to stop half way thru a nite out to remind urself you are having a good time and thers no point in worrying bout stuf rite now.

6. One minute feel like everythings going to be ok the next minute feeling completely overwhelmed then the next minute feeling on top of the world again. Like you hav no control your emotions wht so ever.

Dear badfish,
Everyting you mentioned is familiar to me.  I do my best to stay in the moment and not over analyze why I am ok.  I allow a "not so good"thought to enter my mind and then let it right back out again.  I try not to dwell on the past or worry about the next moment.  Just be in the moment and enjoy the good.

A lot of it is familiar to me as well. I hate the way the mood just goes from happy to scared so quickly.

I too can relate to all the things you listed Fish.I'm always over analyzing things too,i turn the smallest thing into something huge!!! BUt like kitt said you have to try to live in the moment because with P/A you dont know how your'e going to feel one minute to the next.So if i have a day where i feel really good i try to take full advantage of it because i never know what tommorow will bring! I dont know what meds you are on if any,but you may want to consider changing them or getting on some!

Take one day at a time. Remember - this too shall pass.
You have to push forward and know that you will get through this and you will be someday giving advice to someone else needing it at that time. I believe that we have to go through things to get to where we are meant to be. Don't give up. Keep pushing but take time to do things that you find comforting. Maybe meditation, a warm bath, inspirational readings....
Keep us posted.
