tongue   Hi recieved a new copy of my old faithful book Hope and help for your nerves today I feel better just having this book forgot so much of what was in it really helps unmask the fear that goes with this mind blowing problem had a good day today hope it last. Amazing how stress can go on for so long then bammm your set back so fast! I took care of both parents for ten years both are gone now my Dad it has been three years this past week it was hard they both lived to be in there 90s still hard then had a not so good summer my asthma was well not real good then before Christmas my beloved Collie had to be put down well that was the last straw had stomach problems for months = I was in a severe auto accident when I was young have had many ops. on my ankle finally got it fused 5 years ago but still have some trouble at times well at least my tummy seems better now  been taking Prevacid and my xanax which I have taken for years not much half in the morning half at night  helps with the lump in the throat that you get sometimes-- without sounding to much like a country song I will stop  for now believe me my life has been to say the least eventful! That felt really good to vent thanks soooo much  Patchouli

HA!Ha!Ha! Patchouli,I see you have a good sense of humor! You and i are going to get along just fine! I love to talk and laugh! I like your screen name,i burn an inscence sometimes in my house to make it smell good and one of the scents i burn is called Patchouli! It sounds like you have had alot of mishaps in your life! Can't life stink sometimes! But it's mostly what we make of it.I'm sorry about the deaths in your family,i know how it feels to lose someone close to you.I lost my grandma back in 1996 that's when all my troubles with panic and anxiety started and i haven't had too much relief since then. It's like once this thing gets hold of ya' it doesnt want to let go! I have my good days but they are few and far between. But i try to hang in there and i have to admit finding this site has done me the world of good! Alot of times when I'm feeling down and lonely i come here to get support.I hope it does the same thing for you!

Wow this is so cool you are really there! Patchouli is one of my cat's name I have only three young ones they are maine Coons very large kittys they are a comfort but I really do not think they have a handle on panic attacks although they do freak out at times like me. Yeah life can be a real hoot my attacks came yrs ago before the accident had abusive realatioships which did not help also have something called posistional vetigo atfer years of allergy treatments I was sent to a et who told me it was from getting knocked out in acc. Talk about a drug free trip!! I now go and get it a treatment hopefully only yearly it use to come every couple months but was not treated you get very dizzy now imagine that when your having a episode of panic! This is funny just talking about this gives me that stress in my throat this is good to deal with it even when it is under control it lurks hey sounds like a good soap opera when the panic lurks! Well thanks again going to go watch poor politics talk about stress!! Hugs Patchouli

Good Morning patchouli,
I am also from the land of the cold and snow, it has been a long winter and that does not help our moods at all.
I try not to listen to the stock market reports as my whole retirement fund is in the market.  I can just see me at 75 y.o. flipping burgers at Mc Donalds, I will probably have to eat their food if my funds dive.
Oh well not watching keeps me from worrying.
I am so happy you have joined us. There is something comforting about baring your soul to the members of A & P and still being able to be anonymous. We do not judge and we are always open.............stick with us my new friend.
Gentle Hugs
Kitt
