I am going to have to find a job in the next few weeks. I am so so so anxious about this. I went on a couple of interviews back in October and I sat there the whole time with anxiety. It was awful. I thought I would coast through the holidays and look for a job at the beginning of the year. When I was just looking for a job in January through websites, i would get instant anxiety. My head would hurts and my vision would blur. I really don't think I am well enough mentally to work. Does anyone have a work-from-home job? Does anyone know of any legit work at home companies/programs?

thanks

jen

Hi Jen

I went thru the whole job hunting process for 2 years and it was so frustrating!

Be careful of the work at home programs. Most of them want money up front, and any company that asks you for money is not legit. I don't know of any that are truthfully...
Also, be very careful if you are posting your resume on the big job sites (monster.com) once you do that your phone will not stop ringing for telemarketers and fake work at home jobs.

The best resource I found was my state unemployment office, at least here in Iowa they have it online, and they are very good about making sure the jobs are legit.

Good luck in your job search and just take it one day at a time.

Hi,

I have been in your shoes too as I did the job hunting and the anxiety was hard to keep under control.

I did suggest t someone last night  that there are companies that hire people to work from home to do medical transcirption. It is a job paid for by the company running the business and a good local small company that you can check out is one place to look.

You do have to know medical terminology.  Some hospitals woud be a resource to find a name of that sort of company.

I agree to be very leary of the online promises of making money working at home.................they want you to invest your money to make money.

Take care and keep posting.
