Hi everyone........I have been home for 3 weeks from my volunteer job at the hospital, due to 2 broken ribs and my fibromyalgia and anxiety has reared its ugly head.  BUT, I am going back tomorrow for half a day. I only work 2 days a week and I really miss it.  I run the information desk at a large hospital and we all have a great time.  My ribs are better, fibro is so so, but anxiety is not so great.  I have to get back in the saddle, because if I dont try, it will only get worse.
I am thinking positively and hoping my shaky legs will get me out of the house tomorrow morning.  Can you all please keep me in your prayers?  Once I get among all my friends, I know I will be ok.  Its just getting there that is the hard part.  Thanks everyone
Tootie

Tootie,

Good for you, you can do this.  Your job sounds like fun.  Our Hospital is to small to have a decent info desk so you sit there alone and no one to interact with.  I tried it for 4 weeks and it was depressing for me.  I like to have people to talk  with.

I am proud of you.  Keep on taking those babysteps.

Hugs

Well I made it..........worked 5 hours, longer than I thought. Ribs are sore, but
felt so good to get out. My anxiety was not bad once I got there. I just had to prove to myself I could do this and I did. Was good to see everyone, and we had a bunch of laughs. So my friends, even thought I am exhuasted, it is a good exhaustion. Dont ever give up, take baby steps, and soon those steps will be
GIANT steps. Thanks to you all for your good wishes. You are the best!!!!
