Hey bulldog,

DId your physician tell you why he cut your dose fro 45 to 22.5?  Did you have lab work that was out of normal range?

It can make you to drowsy during the day, were you having any problems with that?  Also I do not know what other drugs your on?

Could it be the cause of your insomnia, I am not a professional but I would suspect it may cause your problem.

Please call you physician and clarify why he changed the dose.

Take care and keep posting.

I have been on remeron for about 6 yrs at 45 mg.  about 4 months ago my dr. cut me to 30 mg and I have not noticed any difference except that I have lost my voracious appetite and am again losing weight which is great for me.  I don't notice any trouble sleeping except that I do have a tendency to wake up earlier in the morning than before.  But I can honestly say that I have not suffered any more depression or sleeplesness due to the cut in dose and that was a pretty big cut in the dose.

Normally the lower the dose the more you sleep on it. Do you think it just may have been your brain worrying too much that gave you the sleepless night.

Do you mean .5mgs of klonopin? I'm on 4mgs a day and that's quiet high.

Glad you called your Dr. and you got things sorted out.  I am hoping you slept better last night.
