Lyn,

I  know how you feel, I got up this morning and it was snowing.  Gues what!?!?!? it's still snowing!!!!!!  The weather people are saying we are very close to breaking the 100 year record for the snowiest winter!

Spring has definitely NOT sprung here in New Hampshire.  GRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!  I want to see green leaves on the trees, grass, flowers blooming, birds, etc.  I'm sick of the snow/winter *POUT*.

I woke up to snow as well... the only positive thing I can say about it is that when you stand still and look up at the trees all covered it is so beautiful and serene. That is unless you are standing too close to the road and a car goes by to splach slush all over you.. ha ha ha.

Spring is coming kids... I promise!!!! Then we all need to get outside and walk :)

IT IS RAINING yeah yeah yeah yeah I have almost forgotten what that sounds like..our drought is by no means over, but this is just a wonderful gift from mother nature.  I've been awake since 2am, just listening and smiling...if you want to send some snow over here that would be fab (although to my knowledge it never snows here)....happy spring my other side of the worlders!  happy venting Lyn xx

Meg - I'm glad you are finally getting some much needed rain.  I'll take the rain over snowy any day!!

It's cold and windy here today - 28 degrees without the windchill factored in.  GRRRRRRRR - where is spring?!?!?!!?!  *sigh*

Spring is here in Alabama! Of course, spring will really be here when it freezes over and starts snowing in April! It has been in the lower 70s which isnt bad. I can go outside in shorts and a short sleeved shirt and be ok. I rained yesterday...I dont like rain. I like to enjoy being outside in the sun listening to nature! Although, spring will come now and people are planting gardens and flowers (which I really want to do!), but then in April the weather will go down hill! It always does that!

Its around 50 here right now, and no sun. :( I want the sun... Of course, I feel for you guys who have all that snow. Although, I love snow, possibly because we never have any. Its not worth being cold unless there is snow involved!

I actually got really bad sunburned last weekend. I tend to sit outside and read, its quiet and peaceful.... I did that last Friday, Saturday, and Sunday! Wooo.... that was a bad burn, I love when it turns tan though! But I looked like a lobster!

Sending rays of warm sunshine to those who dont have any!!!

Where is Spring?  Great question.

We had sleet, ice, hail, freezing rain and snow all on Easter Sunday.  The past week we have been wearing longjohns and winter coats and today windy and frigidly cold again.

Wish I were in Texas or somewhere other than Missouri.

Spring has to get here eventually - - - RIGHT????????

We have a bit of spring here in Tennessee. It keeps going back and forth, sunny and warm one day, then snowing/sleeting the next. I have daffodils (sp?) sitting on my desk that my hubby picked to cheer me up. The smell is wonderful and the color bright yellow.

Im not sure where spring is right now. It is sunny but pretty chilly here and we also had snow on easter. Then we lots and lots of rain and flooded out roads and over flowing rivers! But no warm sunny days yet. Maybe soon.

The only thing I hate about spring is the bad storms that come with it!!!

I have only personally seen snow twice in my life and it wasn't much at all. It was 80 degrees outside today and I am sunburned. I would like to be where the snow is. Not longterm though. Because when it gets real cold, I don't like to get out any. Well I hope the snow will disapear soon. That way you all can enjoy the outdoors more. Hope you all are doing good.

Well finally, a nice warm, sunny day - it's 43 degrees outside with little to no wind and it feels great.  The kids are outside playing with the neighbors' kids (YAY - LOL).  I sure hope this is a sign that spring is finally here, although I'm not counting out any spring snow storms yet!  We always think winter is done and then we get hit with another storm.  If we do get another storm, we may very well top that 100 year snowiest winter!  OY - that's a record I wouldn't mind NOT breaking - LOL.

Hi All,

Spring certainly hasn't sprung here yet.  I am in Northern lower Michigan.  I must admit that I did hear a robin this morning though.  But we still have a lot of snow, which some of it melted yesterday, but not enough.  It is suppose to rain today, we shall see.  It is gloomy looking outside.

Hopefully soon it will be here, then I am out to the woods looking for the mysterious morel mushrooms.  Yum...

hugs, Karen

Hello all ..I just spent 7 days in Oregon with 3 of my grandchildren and Raindrops kept fallin' on our heads.  So the children and I just did us some talkin' to the sun and we said we didn't like the way he got things done but those raindrops kept fallin' on our  heads.  So we went swimming in the pool cuss the sun was not going to make us look like a fool and we had fun oh such fun while the rain drops kept falling.

Turn those frowns upside down................spring will sneak up on you.

It's supposed to be in the high 50's tomorrow - woohoo, I can't wait!  It's a sure sign that spring is on it's way!  But we still can't discount a spring snow storm, at least not yet.  But I'm so looking forward to tomorrow.  If we didn't have mounds of snow in the yard, I'd go out and sit in the sun - *sigh*.

We bough a fancy new couch..it's big, it's brown (to hide hot chocolate stains) and its very comfy...we are settling in for hibernation down here xxx

We had two nice days last week--now we are having a weekend snowstorm. 6-8 inches of heavy, wet, white...*stuff.*

We haven't gotten any new snow, but it's chilly.  As the week moves on, it's supposed to get up to the low 60's here.  YAY!!!  I'm seeing more and more patches of my yard and can't wait to get out there and working in my gardens.  Jon, I hope your new snow melts quickly.

Take care,
