Has anyone ever tried homeopathy (not herbs) to treat their anxiety?
If so, what did you use and how did it help?

I started homeopathy to treat my lyme disease and now would like to treat my anxiety the same way.
Here's a great site I found on homeopathy in anxiety

Thanks

Jen

i have been trying homeopathy for 3 yrs to help with anxiety, depression, ocd, ibs.  i recently decided to go back on reagular meds.  it was costing me too much.  i do recommend having a professional take care of the remedies/vitamins/herbs you decide to take. there is alot of stuff you wont know if you just order off line or buy it in a store. example.  chinese medicine/ herps and acupuncture.  you are not suppose to eat raw veggies or drink alcohol.  there is a lot more -- that it doesn't tell you on the bottle of herbs you may purchase.

Hi Jen,

Thank you for sharing the link with us, some valuable information there.  As has already been said, I also recommend talking with your doc (or at the very least, with your pharmacist - they are also knowledgeable about these things) to get educated on possible negative interactions.  As with traditional medications, you want to be educated so that you can make an informed decision about what you take.  You don't want to have any bad side effects.  Please let us know how it goes.

Take care,
Wen

I think it's more important to talk to a ND or a homeopath before starting any natural remedy

A medical dr or pharmacist will be clueless about intereactions. Self education is very important.
Also you have to keep in mind, many homeopathic remedies have been used for 100's (if not 1000's) of yrs and are much safer than conventional meds.
