machelle,

I'm so sorry that you've having health issues right now.  I certainly understand how it feels to grapple with the uncertainty of not knowing what's wrong with your body.  Try not to let your anxiety run away down that path of catastrophizing (is that a word?) until you can get more solid information.

Machelle, this must be a very frustrating time for you.  I hate it when my body goes a bit fudzy.  As percy cat said, don't let those worries take hold until you have more information, and try and keep your mind off it until you can do something constructive. If you like I can fire up my personal jet (I wish!!) and fly you over to my country where kidney function tests are free.

Keep up the faith machelle, vent if you need to and keep us up to date.  ((hugs))

gardens doing great , the veg plants i bought are taking off, but the seedlings i bought haven't came up yet i hope they do, i have been shaky alot lately not knowing what to think whats wrong me, i always have that fear of something being really bad wrong with me, me and my husband too are not getting better which makes things even worse, i get scared sometimes if he leaves me how will i work with this thats wrong with me, i am shaky most of the time and i have so many symptoms, you go the doctor and say wants wrong and you wonder sometimes do they think i am fool of it. money is so hard right now too, i almost get sick when i have to pay for my meds, whats bad is my husband makes too much to get free help but we had to file bankruptcy after the hurricane and they take a chuck out of each check and leaves us enough to pay groceries and bills little left over. you think they would go by want you have left over on your check after deductions and stuff to get help. this my daily stress my oldest wants a car and bugs us, and because we can't get it she treats us bad, she'll have to get over it because we just can't right now, me and my husbands problems, worry when the kids get sick or have a pain in a tooth or body part, no insurance, me being sick, lack of money to fix things wrong with illness or when something breaks around the house, i hate how the goverment does not have help for people struggling, i sit and cry sometimes lately because i am so scared and feel so alone, i don't know what i would do if i didn't have you all to talk too.

Machelle,

I'm so sorry that you're having such a rough time of it. It sounds like you have so much on your plate. I wish I had some solid advice for you, but all I can say is to try to take every little good thing that you can and reap joy of it. It can't make the bad stuff go away, but it might give you just a little bit more strength for dealing with it.

You hang on. We're all right there beside you.

Prayers,
percycat

Machelle,

I am so sorry that you are having such a rough time and I hope your tests come back with all being okay.  You said that you are having a tough time paying for your meds, have you tried applying to the pharmaceutical companies for help?  I did this and am getting most of my meds for free or next to nothing.  I can send and email to you with several links that Kitt helped me find when I needed help with this very issue.  Let me know if this is something you would like; I would be more than happy to help.  Paying for meds out of pocket is a major deal when money is already tight.

Please remember that we here at HW will help you through this rough time and like percycat said we can't make the bad stuff go away, but we sure can help you by supporting you.

Take care and lots of (((((hugs))))),
Wen

Hi Machelle,

No I didn't get your email, but I can get yours from your profile and send you the information.  I will do that today for you.  If you need assistance, let me know.  I've just gone through this myself and the programs are great.

Take care,

Hi Machelle.  I'm sorry that you are still going through a tough time right now with everything.  Just keep hanging in there and hopefully things will start easing up soon.  As for the medical insurance, I don't have any either.  And between my depression/anxiety/mood swing meds and meds for my sinuses and asthma I am frustrated too.

By any chance Wen or Kitt, could I get ahold of the prescription company forms too?  I have been taking turns skipping meds depending on prices and bills.

Last, I am glad to hear that your seeds are going well.  I had started mine right about the time that you had posted saying you had just started your own.  I have been starting flowers from seed and I will be starting veggies from seed this weekend.  Perhaps we could share notes to see how/what out plants will be doing.

I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

Cass

Good morning Machelle,

I have taken your email address out as we don’t allow members to post their contact details in threads for their own safety. (Because these are public forums and there is also scanning software out there.)

I sent your email address directly to Wen just now so hopefully you will hear from her soon.  Thanks for your understanding of the post edit.

Thank you,

Kitt

Machelle,

I know what it's like to live with no insurance, it really is a hassle - to say the least.  Do you have any idea when you might get insurance?  I hope things aren't too bad for you while you wait for the insurance.  Keep posting and we'll do what we can to help you through this.

Are there any programs and/or doctors that offer a sliding fee scale for visits?

Take care,
Wen

we should by September my husband works construction so you never know, the problem we have he makes are clears around $900 a week but our bankruptcy takes out 366$ a week and now with cost of living high, utility's house notes and meds there nothing left, i really don't mean to sound depressing, its just the situation where in, till the end of june hopefully our bankruptcy will be over and things will get better, but i don't know if we qualify for anything i am not sure of how there cut off is, i hate charity hospital here its horrible, no one speaks English and i don't know what there saying which is scary, past treatments where bad for a miscarriage and broken collar bone, which they never fixed right, i just need to move to better area or another country. i am really sorry for being down , i know life will get better after the bankruptcy's in a weird way it saved us, we had been cornered by our credit card companys with high interest, we made all payments but it was getting worse and worse we would have never payed them off, where paying 100% back just without interest. i will never get a credit card again. i was so stressed every month on how we were going to make it, but now there is hope. thanks for letting me vent, i am going to try all toughs places you sent me to get help with my meds.

Good Morning Machelle,

You vent away but hey look how far you have come.  I am glad you got the info you were looking for.  It is a lot of paper work but in the end if it will help you it is worth the time and effort of filling out the forms.

Remember if you have an emergency, you just go to any emergency room as you are entitled to receive a medical screening exam to rule out an emergency condition.  OK.  You don't have to go to the chairty hospital, you just walk up to the desk in ER and say I want to be seen by a Doctor.

Have a great day.

Hugs galore.
Kitt
