WHAT IS THE (COGNITIVE BEHAVIORAL THERAPY)?? YEAH I NEED AS MUCH HELP AS I CAN GET RIGHT NOW....LIKE LATELY LIKE I SAID IVE BEEN GETTING HEADACHES...WHICH MAKE ME THINK ANEURYSIM.....AND ITS LIKE SINCE I AM SO SCARED OF THAT I HEAR MORE about IT ON TV ALL THE TIME....ITS WEIRD LIKE THAT...YA KNOW...
 
 
BUT YEAH I JUST REALLY NEED ANY HELP I CAN GET UNTIL I CAN SEE THE PHSYCIATRIST....I FEEL LIKE IM GOING OUT OF MY MIND...LIKE IM SO ABNORMAL FOR THINKING ALL THESE THINGS WHEN I KNOW IM NOT!! AND MY BEST FRIEND AND MY BOYFRIEND OF ALL PEOPLE JUST LOOK AT ME WEIRD ALL THE TIME WHEN I SAY THE WAY I FEEL WHEN SOMETHING COMES ON I MEAN MY BOYFRIEND WHICH IS MY DAUGHTERS FATHER HAS BEEN THERE FOR ME THROUGH ALOT OF THIS....HE WAS THE ONE BESIDE ME EVERYTIME I WENT TO THE DOCTOR FOR CRAZY THOUGHTS IN MY HEAD BUT I KNOW HE THINKS IM JUST CRAZY....WHICH DOES NOT HELP....

Hello and welcome to HealingWell and the A & P forum.  There is a resource on the first page of A & P that covers CBT.  It is one of the first posts and you will find all the info plus more that your looking for. 

I put a title on your topic for you :)

Also please do not use all caps when osting.  Using ALL CAPITAL LETTERS in posts is considered yelling and rude, plus it is difficult to read.
Again a warm welcome to our family and we are glad to have you so keep posting.

Hi Brittany,

Basically CBT teaches you a new way of thinking and can be very helpful. I suggest you go to the recommended sites and read about it so you will get a better understanding of it. It does help a lot. I have used it for a very long period of time.
