Hi everyone. I used to have the WORST insomnia, but it seems to be gonzo!

Of course diet has a lot to do with sleeping well, but I've been my own Guinea pig as of late and found a solution to my sleeping issues.

I've been taking Apple Cider Vinegar every night before bed and have been sleeping like a baby. I've been doing this for a little over 2 months now.
I take one shot in a glass with some apple juice. A shot is about 2 tablespoons. Yeah it takes gross, but heck it goes down fast!

Not only does it help you sleep, it kills yeast in the body, provided a ton of potassium (something high stress sucks out of our bodies), clears the skin, keeps the bowels moving and helps you sleep.

The pill form of ACV is not effective. It MUST be the liquid organic, unauthorized, unfiltered brand with "mother" in it.
Again, ALL health food or top notch grocery stores would carry this. And it's cheap, like $5 for a huge bottle.

For those worried about an acid stomach or who have issues like GERD, the vinegar will not cause more stomach acid, ACV actually neutralizes the acid.

Thank you for the tip! I'm quite new here but I enjoy reading the cheerful posts and finding people just like me. Since I found this site, I never heard of the yeast culprit. I'm so happy that you are getting some much needed
rest! I think I'll give it a go and see if it works for me.
For the love of Cheesecake and Chocolate!

Good stuff......yeah please report back. I'm curious how this works for others.
Like I said, ACV, is also good for so many other ailments.

I got my whole family and my boyfriend taking it and we all love it.

It does taste terrible when you just drink it, but you get used to it. But you need to mix it with something or else you'll really make a funny face.
One woman I know takes it with grape juice and says it tastes like wine to her.

Oh and also, just to add. I DID NOT take my ACV last night (just to test it) and I could not fall alseep until very late and I tossed and turned all night.

Not sure if it was because I didn't take it or it was psychological, but I'll keep testing this and let you all know.

Hey Kitt, yeah maybe the others are all knocked out....haha!

My pleasure, really.
I think drug co's and meds are not always the answer. Our bodies respond to many other remedies. Remedies that aren't harmful like medications can be.

Of course I think medications have their place, but we need to strengthen our bodies in order to heal. Meds just can't do that.

Thanks for the appreciation  :-)
