...and I just don't know why.  It just came on this afternoon for no apparent reason.  Boy I hate this stupid condition (saying it nicely - LOL)!!!!  I just don't understand how one minute I'm okay and the next I anxious as can be.  But we all know how that can be.  I'm trying to use some of the relaxation techniques but right now they just aren't working.  I don't feel like doing anything right now, but I have to go finish getting supper ready before hubby leaves for work.  Talk to you all soon.

Take care,
Wen

Hey Wen,
I am sorry that you got bit by the anxiety bug and your feeling so anxious.  Big deep calming breath.  Remember that big red stop sign, don't let your anxiety climb.........stop the "Stinkis Thinkin"
Make an effort to stay focused on what's happening now. What do you see, hear, and smell? How do you feel? Truly be 'present' in the moment! That will help you keep the anxiety down.

Remember your ok, the anxiety cannot hurt you,  your safe.  All of your HW family is surrounding you with love and letting you know you are ok.  Close your eyes and imagine we are all there keeping you safe from the anxiety. We are all supporting you.

Your ok with your feelings.  You are a person who has anxiety, it does not have you. You are our Wen. (((((((((Hugs))))))))))

Hi Wen,

Kitt is right, try to stay in the moment. And realize that you are in a safe place.

We are all here for you. Continue the deep breathing, try to relax all of your muscles from the top of your head to the tip of your toes.

Stay calm.
hugs, Karen

Wen, You've received some great advice. I always find I can give great advice, but when it comes to myself, it's hard to follow, lol! Anxiety sure has it's way of sneaking up on us. Nice, deep breaths. You are going to be fine. I hope you are feeling better. Blessings, Julie

Wen,

It's the worst when the anxiety rears it's ugly head yet again and you have no idea why.  Kind of in the middle of that myself, this week.  Everyone here as given you some great advice, just keep breathing and keep the negative thoughts away.  This cannot hurt you, yes it's uncomfortable, but you will get through this.  We are all here for you, hang in there.

Wen,

Hope by now you are sleeping peacefully and the anxiety is lessened.  Go  out into your garden if the weather is nice tomorrow as that is where you feel one with the world.  Hugs to you my friend.

Feeling so sorry for you right now and know that people know how you feel, I am exactly where you are today especially, cannot feel calm at all, cannot 'reason' my mind into a calm place. Everyone has given good advice (as usual) I am going to try and take some of it as well.

Let us know whether you slept well and are feeling better big hugs.

Hi Everyone,

Once again, I know I can come to my HW family and find the support I need.  Although I couldn't post last night because of the extreme anxiety, I did check out the responses and it was comforting to me.

Once I took my nightly meds, I was able to sleep and slept well too.  I'm still feeling somewhat anxious this morning, but I think once it warms up a bit more, I will be out working in my garden.  That relaxes me the most.  Until then, I think I'll have some breakfast, watch a little of the boob tube and maybe even do a little sewing.  By then it should have warmed up enough so it will be comfortable to work outside.

Thank you for all of your help and support, it all helped me and means more to me than you know.

Have a great day and take care,
Wen

Wen,

I'm very glad you're having a better day today. I sure hope that gardening was able to lift your spirits even more. Just hang on and know that we are all right here to support you and help holdyou up when you're feeling unable to do that on your own. The roller coaster of anxiety may have big plunges, but each time we get to the top of a hill, we're doing better than we were before.

Love and prayers,
percycat
