Welcome to HW 'theone'..glad you found us..there are lots of kind caring people here to offer you help and support
Well done for seeking help for your anxiety..I think it's a fantastic idea seeing a counsellor and talking things through It's amazing what problems we manage to sweep under the carpet..and then wonder what on earth has struck us when it all builds up and manifests itself as Panic Attacks!
It takes time to get back on track..but you have already made the first steps to getting well by reaching out and talking to us..keep up the good work and keep posting of your thoughts and progress
Panic Attacks can be really scary..and yes I have ended up at the ER thinking I was heart attack...lo and behold - just like you - everything was fine except my nerves of course..
The good news is..that it does go away - thank goodness...takes a lot of soul searching and hard work learning new skills to deal with the panic...but it can be done..I am living proof - trust me on this

theone? Many of the new antidepressants cover anxiety also but how each person repsonds to the med is different. I would discuss the options with your PCP and get her opinion. Sometime just increasing the dose does the trick if there is room to move up.
I am so sorry you are going through the problems with your custody rights with your daughter. I am sure that is a huge stressor for you and please know we are all here to support you. Keep posting.
