It doesn't matter how well we take care of ourselves..anything can still happen..my Sister Friend told me her SIL was diagnosed with a 50% blockage in her Heart. She and her Husband eat Organic,fresh/lean cuts of Meat, plenty Fruits/Vegetables,Supplement,drink lots of good quality Water and are active, but this still happened.Sister's Brother has Familial high Cholesterol that Diet and Medication doesn't lower.Having major Health Anxiety and hearing news like this puts things into perspective for me because it shows me that none of us are exempt (for lack of a better word) from problems..none of us is guaranteed this second, minute, hour,Day or Tomorrow..if I could get a "grip" on these worries I have maybe just maybe I could start to live..

You are so right. My good friend's husband had a heart attack and she ate only good foods and exercised and took care of both of them.........she died of pancreatic cancer 2 years ago.  But he is doing well.

However, we do not give up and we continue to take good care of ourselves as life is all about living well while we are here.

I'm sorry to hear about your Friend and her Husband. When a Person dies,I view it that it was their time to go,but then again some give up or don't have the will to live and die before their time.I think that is what happened to my Step-Mother.

Hope you have a happy day.
