Anyone have more dreams than normal when on your meds?  Or when you increase your meds?  Seems that since I increased my Paxil, my dreams are more vivid and crazier!

Last night, I dreamt that I was due to get married to this guy I'd never met before (doesn't make sense because I'm currently married).  I was going through my closet looking for something to wear to work.  Then I called the guy I was supposed to be marrying.  Talked for a bit and then told him I had to go to work and he said he'd see me in a little bit.  We hung up and then it dawned on me that we were supposed to be getting married that day and I wasn't supposed to be going to work.  I called my friend who was putting the whole thing on....told her I couldn't go through with it and apologized.  I asked her for names and numbers of the others so I could apologize to them too.  But I don't know that I told the guy....

That was definitely an odd dream....not sure how to analyze it so I'll probably google it and see what I come up with.

Harlan, I have had many more dreams, very vivid ones, since I started taking Paxil. I thought it was just me. And I love to analyze dreams so I'm gonna analyze yours. (Just my opinions =) )
I think that the guy you were supposed to be marrying in your dream symbolizes your "friend". And when you were looking through your closet, you were looking into your secrets of the past, or your past relationship with the friend. Then you called him and that symbolizes ya'll have a relationship in the present. Telling him you had to go to work means that you have other priorities above him. Realizing yall were supposed to get married and then backing out of it means that you want to put this guy out of your mind but he keeps creeping back in. And you want to end it but you feel sorry and sad that things are the way they are between the two of you.

That's what I got out of it. Hope you enjoyed my big interpretation!!! hehe. Love ya!!

TFC - I love your interpretation!  I love it!  It makes sense, too, doesn't it?  I have a logbook of dreams that I've had over the years.  Some are just crazy.  I had one the other night where I was being confronted by someone and I hit my husband in the mouth (for real).  He woke up and asked me why I hit him.  I told him about my dream and he just laughed.

The only thing I don't like about your interpretation is what you said about him creeping back in.  I'd like for him to not creep back in so I can move on and not be upset....can you do something about that?  haha.

I had another dream in there last night....I was printing something from the computer at work.  I only wanted to print a certain part of the page, though.  I hit the print button and it ended up printing the whole thing, which was about 475 pages.

I'm an accountant and actually do select certain things on a page to print so it was a realistic dream but still....why I dreamt about it, I have no idea.  Maybe you can take a stab at it!

Harlan,

I used to have a very similar dream over and over! For years!

It would be the day of my wedding, only I didn't know the guy I was marrying. The dream would always end before it had to attach a name or face to him. I'm not sure when or why it stopped. Maybe it's related to that clinging to someone theme that you and I have shared. I sure don't have it now.

I dream very little any more. I don't know whether that's med related or not.

Kitt, I'm sure your dream was terrifying in the moment, but I keep picturing Barney the Dinosaur. LOL
