Liz,

B's...Vitamin B-Complex (B-Complex Vitamins) may be useful for alleviating Depression or Anxiety as well..a deficiency in B12 can cause moodiness and nervousness.I read that because the B Vitamins work together,a deficiency in one indicates a deficiency in another..Iron deficiency can cause nervousness..Phosphorous can cause symptoms of Anxiety..heard Magnesium has a basis in Anxiety..Para-Aminobenzoic Acid (PABA) causes Depression and irritablity..Potassium..nervousness..there are LOTS of deficiencies that cause Dizziness which is a symptom of Anxiety..

Hello All,

I know we have had lots of conversations about nutrtion so I would like to recommend a book I ordered from Amazon.co ( one of our sponsors here at HealingWell) See Resources on the right and click on books.

The Most Effective Natural Cures On Earth by Jonny Bowden, Ph.D, C.N.S. !st Published in 2008.

"This is an excellent , use-friendly book that skillfully guides you through the maze of natural health solutions.  It's thorough, well written, and research-based"
~ Hyla Cass, M.D. ~
Assisstant Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at UCLA School of Medicine and author of Supplement your Medication

If you had to choose one book, I would recommend this one.

Ahh yes, adrenaline really leaches vitamin B and magnesium out of your body.  That book Kitt suggested is a great resource. I try and take acidophilis as well to keep stomach calm (hoping the mind will follow)..! Thanks for the input Sydnee

I'm currently taking my cert in naturopathic healing and along with all the years of research and trial and error on myself I've learned diet and lifestyle have tons to do woth anxiety.

The best magnesium to take is Mag Glycinate. The other magnesiums do not get absorbed well by the intestines. More than vits and suppliments, diet is the most important factor is keeping the bosy strong enough to fight stress and anxiety.

AWESOME......I'm not going for a doctrine because that takes 4 yrs of med school and 30 grad in tuition, but will be a natural healh practitioner.
Good luck and maybe we can share some great info for everyone else here.
I figure if this becomes my career, I'll be charging for the info but for now, I can give it out for free....hahah!

You all get freebies until I get certified.....haha
Even then, I will always help out fellow anxiety soldiers :-)

I already have a great background in naturopathic healing but now am trying to make it legit so I can leave my job and help other sufferers of anxiety and chronis illness.

G Girl, do you feel the B12 is helping the anxiety.
Lack of Vit b's are a major contributor to anxiety. The shots are better than the orals also
