It is not what we think it is what you think.................we will celebrate with you but you have to want to reach your goal.  You are doing this for you remember. :-)

Sydnee,

You did it the other day. Try to revisit how you felt about it then and let us know how it goes!

Sydnee,

Like Claire Weekes says, "Jelly legs will still get you there"!  You can do it, go slowly, take deep breaths and go!  Let us all know what happens!

Sydnee,

I will send my fairies along to hold your hand if you like, but know you only have to do this for yourself. I'm proud of you just for setting challenges, that's half the battle, smurf you rock!

Sydnee,

Great job on getting out there and moving the sign...yeah for you!  My Claire Weekes books are well worn too, they become my constant companions when I'm going through a rough time.  I know how you are feeling, and what you are dealing with right now, I was completely home bound for 2 years a while back.  It takes baby steps and courage, but you can get past this point.  It does get easier the more you do it, it's just getting through the first steps that are the hardest.  Keep at it, you can do this!  Let me know if there's anything I can do to help.

Thank you June..it seems I've got walking the sidewalk down pat, however am having problem walking a lil further to the mailbox and Trash receptacle..Some of the pages from my Claire Weekes Books are missing, but I still read the sections that apply to me :-) Am sorry to hear you were housebound,it's the pits huh? When in Hospital Summer 1997 with an Infection in my Spine,I had a couple of really bad Day's.I didn't know why I had the Infection,or what the outcome would be,so they called in a Doctor. He told me my problem is breaking through the wall of Anticipatory Anxiety. He was right!

Sydnee,

Way to go,  I knew you could and you did it.............I would like a facial please as my toes and fingers are not able to be prettied up right now.  But a facial would be nice, or how about a mud bath................. redface

Keep it up and I am very proud of you sweetie.  You are a winner.

Hugs

Kitt

Good for you.

Someone once said to me "Feel the Fear and Do it Anyway" that is exactly what you did.

The more you do things you Fear the easier it will be to overcome!! Yes it does take time.

Also not a bad idea to visualise the things you fear - and visualise yourself doing them and how good you feel afterwards you will be surprised at how well this works.
