Well my vacation is coming to a close.  Part of can't be happier to be heading home.  Overall I was amazed at how well my anxiety did.  I'm still nervous about the ride home.  My boyfriend and I fought almost all day yesterday and I'm not even sure we are really talking so this should be a very long ride home.  I wish I could check in here on my ride back but its almost impossible to find any internet connection on the rode.  If we stop maybe I'll try.  I just know you guys will support me and talk to me if I am having a problem.  Can't say the same for my bf.  Anywho I hope everyone had a great holiday and I look forward to talking with everyone when I'm home safe in my own bed.

Morning Angelwings,

I am so sorry that you and the b/f are not talking but perhaps today might be a good day to kiss and make up before the road trip?

It will keep your anxiety down if you have made up.  Remember the good parts of your vacation and let go of the not so good.

When your riding in the car lay back and close your eyes and daydream about good things.  Plan out your dreams and what you would like to do in your life.

Most of all stay in the moment............don't get caught up in the "stinkin thinkin".

I know that going over and over something in my mind after it's happened doesn't do any good. It just makes it worse. I can actually inflate an event after the fact and then it causes me more anxiety than the actual event did.

So we are here if you find an internet connection...............
Happy Trails sweetie,

I do hope that your trip home will be comfortable for you.  I agree with kitt, keep your mind occupied with good things, happy thoughts.  Think of the fun you had on your trip or read all the signs along the road.  What really helps me is to stop every once in a while just to get out and get some air, I always seem to be able to regroup and get back on the road.  Safe and happy trip home!
