This morning, I had to drive to the dealership to have cars oil changed... something good happened, they washed my car also..
But I have the most aweful anxiety driving to have this done. It is about 25 min drive from my home. Then I went passed the  dealership because the turn lane has no left arrow. you just have to wing it. to turn..with 3 lanes of traffic. so I turned around and came back pulling right into the correct  street to get there..... I am glad this is over.....Now you might wonder why I dont get my oil changed closer to my home... welll this Honda Accord has an icon on the screen in front of the sterring wheel. and it beaps and  moves back and forth until the dealership stops it.... another place wouldnt know how to stop this..

thanks, for listening....

Hi Caren,

I am so proud of you. It is great that they washed your car too. I have never heard of that, it would be nice if they did that where I go.

I know that the anxiety can get to you when you have to drive places. I have been through that, but I found out the more I do it, the easier it gets.

Congratulations for a job well done. Have a great day.

Best wishes to you,
hugs Karen...

Caren,

Hey congrats! That sounds a bit hairy..I get pretty nervous in traffic too so I know where you are coming from. Now you've just reminded me that my car REALLY needs a wash..off to the cleaners I go! Hope your nerves are back to normal!

I think that is amazing! I have driven probably a total of five miles over the last two years! My poor husband has to do everything for all of us. I think that is wonderful and you should be so proud of yourself!!! Because of your bravery they gave your a free car wash!

Blessings,
Leah

Caren,

You did a good job. What I admire is how you thought through an alternative on the fly to deal with the situation that made you most uncomfortable: the left unmarked turn. To do that in the midst of your anxiety is a nice success. I'll think about that as my role model next time I need an encouraging thought in my anxiety.

Caren,

Great job.  As far as that beeping, I would tell the dealer to disconnect that cute little feature and you can have you oil change whereever you want as long as you stick to your maintainance book.

Take Care
