Hi GiftOfGod, I'm not quite sure what you mean? Can you give me some more info?

I know that anxiety and GERD are linked, but I can't offer much more. I am sure some far smarter people will be along to give you some advice. Stay well.

I suffer from both. I know that when my GERD acts up and hurts really bad it can and will trigger anxiety or panic attacks due to the pain it causes in my chest. I have begin living on ginger and peppermint due to how the help with the GI system.

In the United States today, there is a pervasive tendency to treat children as adults, and adults as children. The options of children are thus steadily expanded, while those of adults are progressively constricted. The result is unruly children and childish adults. ~Thomas Szasz

I also have both but I had the anxiety way before the GERD so I can't say the anxiety caused the GERD.  I think mine was perhaps do to my poor eating habits.......................

Hope this helps you.

I suffer from both anxiety and GERD. I don't think they are related per say but like the other post, I do occasionary have panic attacks because of the GERD..."Am I having a heart attack"...that sort of thing. I started Prilosec a few months ago and between it everyday and the Klonopin prn, I think i about have it under control LOL

Take care

Hey thanks for clarifying that. I don't always have my thinking cap on!! IMHO I think they are linked. Have you seen a dietician about foods that may relieve some of the symptoms? I am a big fan of ginger too!

Best,
