Zoloft and gynecomastia?

 I'm taking zoloft 25 mg since 2 and half years against anxiety and panic, its actually helped me too much, I ve been symptom free since 6 months , I want to stop taking it, but cann't because getting withdrawal symptoms sp. dizziness which unbearable, recently my wife noticed that my breasts has been enlarged and even now I'm feeling the large breasts by myself..........my question is is it because of zoloft? any ideas plz?

Hi Angest,

I really haven't heard of that one before. It's probably best to check with your doctor on this one. You mention that you cannot come off the zoloft because of withdrawl symptoms. How fast are you coming of the med? Are you tapering or just stopping? A slow reduction in dosage can often be a succesful way to come of a med. Let us know how you get on.Take care.

Hello, this is Kitt.  I have not heard of that sx either.  You can be weaned off your med very very slowly with the help of your physician and avoid the severe withdrawal. Please talk to your physician.
