A friend is like a flower,
a rose to be exact,
Or maybe like a brand new gate
that never comes unlatched.
A friend is like an owl,
both beautiful and wise.
Or perhaps a friend is like a ghost,
whose spirit never dies.
A friend is like a heart that goes
strong until the end.
Where would we be in this world.

Love you Big sis and keep on healing.

Dear big Sis,

Thought you would like to know Toby gets staples out tomorrow.  The power of prayer, all the prayers offered for him have blessed us so.

Love

Lyn.... thank you so much for your email.... I am keeping you in my prayers dear one.... wish I could give you a big old hug....

Kitt.... Staples coming out already... that's a good sign.... it looks like your dear hubby is on his way to full recovery. How has his CD been acting. Hope its staying out of the picture and giving him time to heal.

To both of you... Lyn and Kitt... thank you for always being here . It seems no matter what is happening in your own lives... you make time for us... You've no idea how much that matters... and what a difference you are making in each of our lives. Blessings to both of you.
Much love
Mary

Good Morning Big Sis,

My love and prayers to you and Cait.  Time for a giggle.

Mental Release

A man who had been in a mental home for some years finally seemed to have improved to the point where it was thought he might be released.

The head of the institution, in a fit of commendable caution, decided, however, to interview him first.

"Tell me," said he, "if we release you, as we are considering doing, what do you intend to do with your life?'

The inmate said, "It would be wonderful to get back to real life and if I do, I will certainly refrain from making my former mistake. I was a nuclear physicist, you know, and it was the stress of my work in weapons research that helped put me here. If I am released, I shall confine myself to work in pure theory, where I trust the situation will be less difficult and stressful."

"Marvelous," said the head of the institution.

"Or else," ruminated the inmate. "I might teach. There is something to be said for spending one's life in bringing up a new generation of scientists."

"Absolutely," said the head.

"Then again, I might write. There is considerable need for books on science for the general public. Or I might even write a novel based on my experiences in this fine institution."

"An interesting possibility," said the head.

"And finally, if none of these things appeals to me, I can always continue to be a teakettle."

Dear Big Sis,

Fall is in the air..............the apples are ripe for picking and we should go on a hayride.  We could sing all those crazy songs we write about.

Maybe a cup of Hot Chocolate after the hay ride and of course a good ole girls chat session.  You can make apple pies too  turn

My prayers for you my dear friend and know I am with you at all times.  Now take care of you.  I have others praying for you too.

Dear Big Sis,

I was so happy to hear your voice last evening.  Just knowing you are still fighting back is good news.  Remember it is ok to not be online when you feel so ill.  We all understand that.

I love you and lots of hugs coming your way.

Love
Lil Sis
