Well lets see,
I see auras around lights and not just lights about everything else too and i have double vision, and my eyes are sensitive to light.
and then i feel like my muscles in my face are weak, like i cant talk right and sometimes i repeat something before i actually say it if that made any sense. and i have really bad mood swings, and always feel like im going to pass out all the time. and i feel confused often, and im having a hard time spelling easy words..... god i'm scared.
does anyone else experience this? or is there something seriously wrong with me? Ive been scared that i have a brain tumor, and also i feel like i am experiencing memory loss. By the way i'm only 19. Scared =[

also i had a MRI about 5 years ago it came out negative.

do you have migraines? the vision problems sound a lot like migraines, if you're having headaches too, which are very treatable. I don't know about the other stuff. are you on meds? some meds can make you slow down mentally. nothing serious, just a kind of annoying side effect. also when extemely stressed you can have confusion. do you have panic attacks? I know with some people they feel like they could pass out or even have a heart attack when it's really just a panic attack. heck, sometimes just severe anxiety can cause most of these problems.

I'll be 100% honest with you. I doubt it's a brain tumor. There's a girl on another forum I'm on and she often worries about health issues, always fearing the worst. It's just another form of an anxiety disorder. I'm not saying you should ignore your symptoms though. If you're worried you should talk to a doctor about these symptoms. Try to relax and you may be surprised that some of these problems go away. If they persist or get worse you should definitely call a doc.

Bipolar, panic disorder, PTSD, PCOS, hashimoto's disease/hypothyroidism, acid reflux, and in the process of being diagnosed with either crohns, colitis, or even lupus...who knows really! the docs sure don't lol. Now possibly even celiacs disease!Lots of tests coming up so hopefully I'll know more soon. Too many meds to list!

Disenchanted... Honey have you been to see a doctor. I can see why you would be frightened . The best thing to do in that case is rule out things... see you DR... explain your symptoms... get some reassurance.
It almost sounds to me like the aura you get prior to a migraine. I've had them all my life and believe this all sounds familiar.
What prompted the dr. to send you for an MRI 5 years ago? the same sort of thing or different symptoms. If it was the same sort of symptoms then I would definately not worry about it as the MRI would have indicated something.
It is hard to reason with fear.... The best thing is to be pro-active about it. Write out a note for yourself for the next time you see your Dr.... when do these symptoms occur... have you eaten..not eaten... slept... not slept.. where exactly do they start and note exactly what you are doing at the time. Be specific. This will help the doctor determine what tests he should order. It could also be that you are hypogycemic.... that is easily treated.
Keeping you in my prayers honey... let us know how you are doing ok. We will be thinking about you and wondering how you are.
Love and prayers

Good Morning and Welcome to Healing Well,

Your sx could be caused by an atypical migraine, or many other things so don't pick the worse outcome as that does scare you for sure.

Do make an appointment with your physician and try to stay in the moment, don't get into the "stinkin thinkin",  stay in the positive it is much nicer there.  idea

Keep talking to us and I agree with the member who said be safe and don't go out alone or drive when you feel like this.

Gentle Hugs
Kitt
