Welcome to HW, I hope we can help you out here. I needed to do a tiny edit of your post, if you want to put your email address up please go into the control panel (up on the right next to log off) rather than in your post. We have spammers who will come along and pick up your email address and I don't want that. !!! Neither do you I'm sure.
I am not a doctor, but I have experienced something similar to what you are going through. I have had the tests and they are all "inconclusive" so I have been diagnosed with IBS. It is incredibly frustrating, but I believe (for me) that it is anxiety related. The more anxious I am the worse the symptoms. I can see that if you are going back to Iraq that you must be highly stressed, do you get any counselling or therapy for this? I would highly reccomend it. We also have an IBS forum on the HW site and they are full of great advice on all of your symptoms.
I wish you all the luck, and again sorry for the edit, but if you put it in your control panel people can contact you. Thanks,

Constipation and Diarrhea are both symptoms of Anxiety.
Have you ever been in therapy. CBT is a good choice for people with Anxiety.
Cognitive-behavioral therapy is based on the idea that our thoughts cause our feelings and behaviors, not external things, like people, situations, and events. The benefit of this fact is that we can change the way we think to feel / act better even if the situation does not change. There is a free online site you may want to check out.

That really sounds like anxity to me. If it comes back under high stress then that is a huge red flag. I suggest you get some help with working through the anxiety. Hopefully this will ease the bowel issues.
As usual Meg is right on. If it comes with anxiety, which it seems to then I would agree it is a sx of your anxiety. I would suggest seeing your Physcian just to rule out any other reasons for the diarrhea.
I am sure you are stressing about your return to Iraq. I will pray for you and know we all care.

Another way of dealing with Anxiety is to be proactive with it. Understand what your triggers are. Think about them. Maybe write them down and the reasons you feel that they are your triggers. Try and focus on solutions to these triggers to avoid it happening in the first place.
