Hi ,  i am a 30 year old male.  I am completly freaked out.  I got a hand at a strip club two months ago.  and that is completly not like me.  I have neaver cheated on a girl even all the way back to high school or while i was in the marine corps. but i m so scared i got hiv.  now i know from reading multiple sites that this is a no risk thing. but i still went and got tested .  one was a very expesive dna test  that  was neg and another rapid test after six weeks that was neg.  but  im still worried!  it doesnt make sense. i even confessed to my fiance.  Who does that.  I cant do anything i enjoy!  it takes up all of my thoughts!  what do i do!

First
YOu did right IMHO by telling your other half

Secondly I believe you have learned a VALUABLE lesson in all of this

Your anxiety will start to calm down I am sure

You have to keep in mind you have been tested twice now and both negative

Go about your life with alot less stress and find the good
THERE really is good

I am, sorry you have to have anxiety/panic as this
but you will get thru it
YOU really will
NO you are not going crazy
YOU would not know it if you were

You know, none of us are perfect and things happen. . . At least you were a real man and took the right steps from tests to confession. . . So why are you freaking out? You have your answer, and there is nothing that can be done at this point but move on and put them "scary" and irrational thoughts out of your head. Good luck!!!

beantown,

Have you had a chance to talk with a counselor re you increased anxiety?

Forgive yourself and move on. You are a good person that made a poor choice. Your like the rest of us. “Love yourself—accept yourself—forgive yourself—and be good to yourself, because without you the rest of us are without a source of many wonderful things.” ~Leo F. Buscaglia ~

  Hi beantown

I have to say that I to have done the same thing, I have been with my wife for 22 years and had never done anything like that that before till this summer but at the time I just didn't care as I had felt love like that in a long time, but I'm so glad it is over now as me and my wife are even closer then ever but it was good at frist apon telling her the news of my affair and seeing the hurt that I had caused to her that I will never do it again, but at that time it all felt right but now I know just how bad it can be on all

So let it go and just remmber IT WAS A MISTAKE and just keep that in mind if it ever comes back that you are better then this and you really don't wish to hurt the one's that you really love EVER, I hope this helps as I never wish to go through it again,
