Yes, this is a wonderful thread. . . I have a huge military family, spanning hundreds of years of wars, and there are so many people that have lost family and have loved ones away from them right now. . . I will be saying a special prayer for our brave troops and the families of all out there. . . I just got in my new flag today, and I'm glad it arrived on time. . .
Much Love, Hugs, Peace & Comfort :)

Hey, Lyn. . . I always get confused (a little foggy lately:) But can we lower our flags at half-mast on the 11? I feel it is appropriate, and the Canadians do it, but I'm not sure about here in the U.S. Thank you so much.
Much Love, Hugs, Peace & Comfort :)

There seems to be a lot of debate on which days the flag is lowered for and it may differ by state.  ? ?

November 11, 1921, Armistice Day, at 8 :30 A.M.

I lived in the DC area for a while, and used to go spend time at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier when no one else was around. So peaceful...

Thank you to all our vets. If you see one today, go up and say thanks - he or she will surely appreciate it.

Wars are fought on many grounds, as are troops to do there jobs to keep pease in places that no one will ever know it is not just in wars but in anyway of life to protech others from harm in some far away places that many of you may not know and yet they are proud to do what it takes even if it is not for the USA or other countrys involed as this is a world wide problem one that I will stand up for time and time again.

Thanks to all the vet's out there and I to am proud to one of them

   Cowboy up
