Over the last few days (after getting out of the hospital last Friday) I've been having some major anxiety symptoms. I'm having trouble concentrating and feel dizzy and have a pain in the back of my head and my lower back. I'm not sure if this is my fibro acting up or a combo of things. My brother would've been 44yrs old on Tuesday and I think that is getting to me. Many of you know he died suddenly in May 2007. I'm having problems sleeping and my stomach has been upset. I left a message for my Psyc Dr to see what she thinks. Of course I'm afraid I have a brain issue! UGh....I need some serious help. cry

Sweetie,

Take some deep breaths, you have done the right things by calling your P-doc. Maybe she can help you with some calming techniques or suggest a med cahnge or adjustment. Hang in there okay..we understand excess anxiety. I'm sorry to hear about your brother. That kind of pain comes back to haunt us when we are vulnerable.

Hey P-Fit,

Your pdoc will definitely know what to do. Hang in there till you get to talk to him/her. If you need someone to chat with, ill be here.

Well, I heard back from my doc. She wants me to go back to my original dose of clonazepam until the spring. She knows I have problems in the fall/winter and just thinks its obviously a bad time to try and wean. She gave me some great calming techniques too. I'm going to try and get a massage this weekend and see if that helps. Thanks for the encouragement everyone.

Dee,

I sense that your physician and you have a good relationship.  If you trust her, I would take her advice and in the spring look at weaning again.

Hugs to you sweetie,

Kitt
