debt, well we had to get new vehicles we gave my husbands car to my oldest, its 8 years old and then my car went (9 years old) capooted , so new used vehicles and now health insurance $130.00 a week geez, i guess we will be eating alot of beans and rice. but at least now maybe i can find a doctor to tell me whats all wrong, and hopefully doesn't put me on more meds, and actually knows and cares to find out what is wrong with me. it just scares me to be so tight with money especially around this time of year, another thing our vehecle insurance went $400 every 6 months, and our house insurance has almost doubled because of hurricanes. :( get out of a bankrupcty free of credit cars debt, and its like the universe goes hey you got money , ah i think not. i sorry to rant, but i am glad to get checked out by a hopefully good doctor, i hope everyone is doing good, start to get ready to gain weight due to holidays food. smilewinkgrin

I am so sorry about all and the insurance is tough.  I know there are companies that will take you with preexisting problems. Perhaps someone on the forum will have info.

I know all about the house insurance going up.............we have a wood burner and had trouble even finding insurance.

Know your in my prayers and in my heart.  Bless you sweetie.

Machelle, i dont own a house, i moved back in with my parents to save some money- but then i got my first credit card, then 2nd, then 3rd. i have now cut all three offending cards up, but my debt is huge- that and my student loans. i am certain i would have less anxiety if i was in control of my finances. its my own fault i got all this debt and i have learned my lesson, but jeez its nerve wracking! my car is 12yrs old, but she is cute, has air con, cd/mp3, tinted windows, mag wheels etc. i want a new car sooo bad, but due to my self induced debt, 'the little thrasher' (as my students call her) will have to do.
i hope you get some relief with your insurance and that a weight is lifted from you.

Machelle, nice to meet you. I sure hope things start getting better for you and your family. You might try Humana One for insurance. Don't let anyone do it for you. You need to set aside two to three hours, and physically call them yourself, and they will take you through he entire app, send you over to the underwriters, and then it takes about a month to become effective. Good luck!!!

i am looking at a insurance that is insurance but a discount card kinda like, it pays 70% of hospital, its 30$ per doctor visit, 10$ for generics and 20$ for name brand , 60% for eyes , dental, hearing, and 65% for xrays and other extras, 25,000 life for each individual and 5,000 for loss of job for injury, there is no deductible on hospital but there is on er 100$ for 189$ a month through a good company, hopefully its good it covers all preexisting conditions too, but this is all we can afford not 125$ a week and there is really no difference in coverage at all except they pay 80% but it has a 4,500 deductible what do ya'll think
