Hi Fifi,

Welcome to HW, I am so glad you found us and shared your worries. Any surgery is going to cause scary thoughts and feelings and especially at this time of the year. I am so glad your family is behind you. I must admit, I really have no expertise in this area, but I understand anxiety.

Have you spoken with your doctor/surgeon about what to expect? It is always best to be well informed and prepared. I find it helps to not think too far ahead. Get yourself ready for what you need to do for today and try not to worry about tomorrow. Easier said than done. But today is all we have and the future will take care of itself. We can't control it, so accept that and let it go..

The members here at HW will be on hand to give you support and (most likely) a great deal more advice than me. Hang in there Fifi, we are a caring community.

Hugs, Meg

Fifi, please try not to worry too much. Everything will be fine! I don't have experience with what you will be going through, but I wanted you to know that I will be thinking about you and will add you to my prayers!
