Mine is doing the outdoor sports which i love such as skiing, wind surfing, rock climbing, ice climbing, kayaking and mountain biking when i do these sports they give me a huge amount of satisfaction and for a short while when i do these sports my anxiety and depression seem to go and i can enjoy myself and feel for a short time happy and content.

My parents and siblings first off.  Second would be my iPod and all my music.  Also, and don't laugh, my blankie on my bed wrapped around me.

king sized bed with great mattress, stretching out and not bumping into anyone- just me, my pillows and yes: a couple of soft toys blush   he he he he he, need em to sleep.

and music is my therapy. it runs through my veins- listening to it, writing it, performing it- in my secret double life im a rockstar. yeah watching Dead Poet's Society and Stand By Me and quoting the whole film ad nauseaum.

writing. i was born full of words that were clawing to get out, to be put on paper, to be seen, to be heard, to be shared.

this place, this forum feels like home, it is therapy for the soul. the smiles it brings are the truest form of medicine.

Yes all I am extremely lucky. I have a husband who spoils me rotten, and takes the gentlest care of me at all times. He's also the best body guard ever, and the best masseuse a girl with Crohns, Arthritis and Anxiety could ever have.
