Good Morning  Family,

10 days to go to Christmas.  My question today is:

What mood do you  want to create for yourself  today?

Hopefully a peaceful one. Woke up at 1 am this morning and couldn't get back to sleep because I am worrying so much about my daughter. Felt the tears welling up and felt my self getting upset, so I gave in and took one of my Xanax. Guess this is going to be a long day, I can already feel the fatigue setting in. Gotta keep remembering to let go and let God handle this one.

I'd like to create a mood of excitement for the holidays and try to put the worries behind me, if only for a little while.  The tree is up, but not decorated, I haven't done any of the other decorating either.  Today I will clean the house and do some decorating, get in the spirit and make the best out of the season that I can with all that's going on with health issues in the family.  Maybe I'll even do a little baking, I'm sure my family would like that.

Well, today has been fairly quiet and calm, and that's as much as I hoped for this morning... so I'll take it! (-:

Hope everyone is well.

I am worried about someone close here as well.  I am just now getting on (at the end of the day).  I tried for a peaceful mood but didn't quite get there.  Just taking it all one hour at a time right now (either that or I'll lose my mind).  I'm gonna try for a "quiet contentment" tomorrow though.

I would like a writing mood... Man, I love those times where I get worked up about a story idea and just write for hours... Lost in the "flow"... It's great. Totally great. :)
I think I am being picked on by life, sometimes. But's that okay. Life and I are good buddies... I know life doesn't mean no harm. It just is the way it is. I can accept that.

Nanners, do you ever allow yourself to cry? Maybe it would be very therapeutic for you! You have a lot of stress. Go take a shower and cry your eyes out. It feels good.

Oh yeah Aries8 I do. Problem is, you see I have Crohns Disease and its flaring some right now, and stress is not so good for us. Plus the problem is a 30 year old daughter, and I really need to let her go and fall, so she can learn from her mistake. But its hard being a mom and letting your child be hurt, but at this time, that is what I have to do (for her benefit). Thanks for your kind thoughts.
